L’année dernière, Sciences Po a permis la mise en place du projet collectif « Copenhague, et si ça c’était passé autrement », réunissant plus de 150 étudiants rejouant les négociations internationales sur le climat de Copenhague (2009). Une semaine de négociations non-stop, y compris une nuit, de l’émotion, des tensions pour arriver à un accord international et à un succès du projet.

En juin 2012 aura lieu Rio+20, LA conférence internationale sur le développement durable. Si nous ne pouvons pas aller à Rio+20 et négocier nous même un accord, organisons un « Paris +20 » pour les étudiants, par les étudiants.

Paris+20 (en partenariat avec l’UNESCO) aura lieu du 4 au 8 juin 2012, juste avant Rio +20, et permettra aux différentes délégations étudiantes que vous pouvez dès maintenant rejoindre de débattre pendant quatre jours et de parvenir à un accord final qui permettra de porter la voix des étudiants à la conférence de Rio elle-même.

Un cycle de conférences permettant de se préparer aux négociations de Paris+20 aura lieu ce semestre TOUS LES MERCREDIS de 14h45 à 16h45 à Sciences Po (27, rue Saint Guillaume, 75007 PARIS) en présence d’intervenants prestigieux, réservez ce créneau horaire ! La conférence d’ouverture aura lieu le lundi 30 janvier de 19h15 à 21h15 en présence de Monsieur Brice LALONDE, ancien ministre de l’environnement et coordinateur de Rio+20, sur les enjeux de Rio+20 (inscription à http://www.iddri.org/Activites/Conferences/Rio+-20-Le-developpement-durable-a-l-epreuve-de-la-mondialisation/).

Le mercredi 1^er février nous organisons une réunion d’introduction pour permettre à tous les intéressés de s’inscrire et de prendre part à ce projet exceptionnel, qui s’étend d’ailleurs bien au-delà de Paris. Le projet MyCity+20 a également été lancé, et Roma+20, Amsterdam+20, Mexico+20, Colombo+20 et bien d’autres porteront la voix de la jeunesse internationale et auront un poids sur les véritables négociations.  (Le lieu de cette réunion sera communiqué par notre facebook quelques jours avant !)

One year ago, the collective project “Copenhagen, and if it had happened differently?” took place in Science Po, gathering more than 150 students re-making the international negotiations of Copenhagen about climate change (2009). One breathtaking negotiation week, including a night, emotion, tensions to finally achieve an international agreement.

In June 2012 Rio+20 will take place, as THE international Conference on sustainable development. If we can’t go to Rio and negotiate ourselves, let’s do our own “Paris+20” for students, by students.

Paris+20 (sponsored by UNESCO) will take place for the 4^th to the 8^th of June 2012, just before Rio+20, and will allow the different student delegations that you can already join to debate during four days and nights and to reach to a final agreement that will carry the voice of the students to the Rio conference itself.

A conference cycle to prepare to the negotiations of Paris+20 will start this semester EVERY WEDNESDAY from 2h45pm to 4h45 pm with prestigious guests, book this time! The opening conference will take place on Monday 30^th from 5m to 7pm with Mr Brice LALONDE, former minister of the environment and coordinator of Rio+20, on the theme “General introductive presentation on the issues of RIO+20”. On Wednesday the 1^st of February we will organise a welcoming meeting for everyone to subscribe and take part of this amazing project that extend far beyond Paris. The MyCitY+20 project has been launched, and Roma+20, Amsterdam+20, Mexico+20, Colombo+20 and many others will carry the voice of the international youth and will impact the real negotiations. (The place where this meeting will happen will be announced via facebook some days before the event!)
